2023 Baco Noir
Produced from 100% New York State Baco Noir grapes sourced from Erie County, New York, this medium- to full-bodied red wine showcases the bold character and versatility of one of the Northeast's most distinctive cold-climate varieties. Machine harvested in mid-September, the fruit was warm fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel to preserve varietal purity and vibrant fruit expression.
The nose opens with aromas of black currant, dark plum, and dried cranberry. On the palate, rich berry flavors are complemented by notes of plum raisin and subtle earthy undertones. Balanced acidity and soft tannins lead to a smooth, lingering finish that makes this wine equally enjoyable on its own or paired with hearty cuisine.
