OUR STORY

Elizabeth & Richard Hamilton embarked on their dream of opening a winery when they purchased 15 acres of land in Constantia, NY in 2012. Within the first year of ownership they planted their first acre of grapevines.
The first harvest of grapes was in 2017 and shortly afterward they opened the tasting room in 2018.
Since that time, their passion for winemaking has continued with a focus on small batch production to ensure the highest quality wine.  Hundreds of international awards have been achieved in this small farm winery.  Giving back to the community remains a priority including charity donations to multiple rescues each year.  Focusing on a high level of service, and making every person walking through our doors feel at home is our guarantee.

ABOUT US

The winery was built between 2015 through 2018. The building features up-cycled wood from Aspen Poplar trees grown on the property. The bar is made from a neighbor’s maple tree that had to be cut down as it was a hazard to the house.

One unique feature of the winery is that it is accessible by the Vanderbilt snowmobile trail and is dog friendly! The winery plans to incorporate solar panels for sustainability in 2027.  Not only do we sell high quality wine, but we also offer locally produced NYS craft beer, NYS spirits,  as well as cheese, popcorn and dipping sauces. There is a wood-fired pizza trailer on site most weekends through GT Wood-Fired.

Stop in on Friday evenings through the summer or Saturday's through the fall for live music performed by Central New York’s  most talented musicians.

Dogs are welcomed at Grace Tyler Estate Winery!

We employ passionate wine experts from various backgrounds. From picking the grapes to bottling the wine, our team of professionals are committed to educating guests about our wine.

OZZY Hamilton

Rescued in 2021 from powerful paws dog rescue, he is loving and kind chocolate laborador retriever with a shy side.  Scared of most strangers, you can always warm him up with a fresh treat in hand.  He used to work on a breeding farm before coming to our farm and now enjoys the retired life of love, vineyard walks and fresh country air.

BAILEY BOON HAMILTON

11/16/2005-12/18/2020
Bailey was with the Hamilton's since he was born. His primary job was the winery’s greeter. Watching over the patrons like a Shepard, Bailey made sure everyone was behaving and always had a smile. After 15 years of gracious life he sadly passed, and we miss him terribly every day. Bailey had beaten cancer and stayed healthy by undergoing under-water treadmill therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care.  He was also with the family since the first planting of grape vines and was a true vineyard dog.
